FAST FOOD doesn’t mean a slip in standards, and one Chipotle customer has complained online after uncovering an unwelcome addition to their meal.
The post has since garnered the attention of other diners, threatening to remove the chain as a favorite.

In a Facebook post, which now has almost 100 reactions, the shocked diner accompanied the post with images.
Sharing, “When your burrito comes with some hardware!
The followed up saying, “Gross! It’s a metal bracket from shelving or something. Way to go Chipotle Mexican Grill!”
The diner tagged Chipotle’s official Facebook page in the post and claimed it was a family favorite.
The post quickly sparked outrage, with others chiming in to criticize the popular chain.

One person replied to the post, “That’s horrifying and disgusting! It’s lucky you didn’t break your teeth or worse.”
Another person wrote, “This is disgusting.”
Some even declared they’d had enough of the brand altogether.
Another comment read, “OMG, that’s horrifying!
“Thanks for sharing, as it is quickly getting banned from this household!”
Other diners also claimed incidents like this are why Chipotle will go missing from their dining rotation.
A commentor said, “And I was on the fence about being done with them; this does it for me!”
Others were quick to ask the original poster which location this happened in.
Though it isn’t mentioned throughout the comments, the person who posted this said they have been in touch with customer service and the matter is being escalated.
Someone else shared, “And by the looks of it, a dirty shelf bracket pre-burrito.
“I’m glad you didn’t bite down on it or swallow it. Some people work with blinders on.”
