There are delays of more than half-an-hour on the M6 northbound and A6 to the north of Preston after an earlier crash.

An earlier crash between Junction 32 and Junction 33 M6 northbound has seen delays as emergency services clear the crash.

Long delays on the A6 through Barton and Garstang are also being reported as a result of the lane closures on the M6.

The crash took place around 10.30am on Friday (31 January). A police spokesperson confirmed a lorry hit the central reservation just south of Garstang. It was a ‘damage-only’ collision.

Traffic England is reporting delays are expected on the stretch between Preston and Garstang until around 1.30pm on Friday.
