JENNIFER Garner has already returned to work just five days after her beloved Pacific Palisades neighborhood was destroyed by the LA wildfires, The U.S. Sun has learned.

The star’s latest series, The Last Thing He Told Me, resumed production in Los Angeles on Tuesday after halting filming over the horrifying infernos that continue to ravage the city.

On Tuesday, the cast and crew for the AppleTV+ show were called to film at a downtown Los Angeles park, The U.S. Sun can confirm.

The thriller will also resume filming on Wednesday, as they are scheduled to film at a building in Century City, CA.

It is not yet clear if Jennifer, 52, will be at both filming locations however, she is at the top of the call sheet as she leads the show’s cast.

Jennifer stars alongside The Last Thing He Told Me with Game of ThronesNikolaj Coster-Waldau and Mean Girl’s Angourie Rice.

The show, which is based on Laura Dave’s novel of the same name, is currently filming its second season after it premiered on AppleTV+ in April 2023.

Though it’s been nearly two years since the fan-favorite show aired new episodes, a release date for its second season has not been announced yet.

In November, Jennifer shared a video from the set with Angourie, 24, and Nikolaj, 54, to announce that season 2 was officially in production.

“Well, well, well…look who we found. #TheLastThingHeToldMe Season 2 is in production! Catch up on The Last Thing He Told Me Season 1 on @appletv,” she said next to the clip with her co-stars.

Jennifer also serves as an executive producer on the show – which is financed by Hello Sunshine, Reese Witherspoon’s female-led production company.

While some shows resumed production this week, much of Hollywood remains shut down – including Jeopardy! and Wheel of Fortune which canceled their tapings all week.

WEEK OF DEVASTATION

The 13 Going on 30 star has been one of the millions in Los Angeles suffering this week due to the devastating fires that have torn through the city.

While dozens of fires popped up this past week throughout LA, the two largest remain actively burning – Altadena’s Eaton fire which is currently at 35% containment as of Tuesday and the Palisades fire in Pacific Palisades and Malibu – which sits at just 17% containment as of Tuesday.

As unprecedented winds continue to spread throughout Southern California, many are still on a red flag warning to be alert for potential future fires.

Jennifer and ex-husband, Ben Affleck, have become a pillar of the Pacific Palisades community over the past few decades of calling it home.

The former couple, along with their children, are often seen at church, school events, parks and other community get togethers within the Palisades neighborhood.

As the devastating flames continued to tear through the area, Jennifer stepped out on Thursday to lend a helping hand as she volunteered at World Central Kitchen’s Chef José Andrés pop-up location for victims.

“I did lose a friend, and for our church, it’s really tender so I don’t feel like we should talk about it yet,” she told news cameras present at the time.

“I did lose a friend who did not get out in time. My heart bleeds for my friends. I mean, I can think of 100 families, and there are 5,000 homes lost.

“I can, without even, I could just write out a list of 100 friends who lost their homes. I feel almost guilty walking through my house.

“You know, what can I do? How can I help? What can I offer? What do I have to offer with these hands and these walls and the safety that I have?. It is an incredible thing to watch.

“World Central Kitchen and Chef José just come in and… ‘We’ve got you. We’ve got this handled. Don’t worry.’”

She continued to talk about her love for her home, adding: “I’ve lived in and around the Palisades for 25 years, so I just think all of us, we want to get our hands into working, somehow, to be helpful.

“And because of my work with Save The Children, we have a relationship with the chef, and I was able to just say, ‘Can I be with you for the day? What can I do to help? Put me to work.’”
