A man has been charged following a string of robberies at the Holland and Barrett store on Fishergate

Patrick Barnes, 30, of Mount Street, Preston city centre appeared in Preston Magistrates’ Court on Thursday January 9 after he was arrested on January 8 on five counts of theft.

Around £700 worth of collagen products were stolen from the store on numerous different occasions, and these were reported on January 6.

This arrest comes as a part of Operation Vulture, Lancashire Constabulary’s campaign against shoplifting which was launched in November last year.
