A POPULAR dessert is making its return to McDonald’s, but only customers living in certain areas can get it first.
The fast food giant appears to be testing the item out at select locations before a nationwide rollout.

The Strawberry and Creme Pie is now available again at select locations[/caption]
While McDonald’s has yet to officially confirm its comeback, the Strawberry and Creme Pie has been spotted on menus again, per an Instagram post from food insider Markie Devo (@markie_devo) this week.
Devo noted that customers in Arizona, Florida, Georgia, Michigan, and New York had seen the treat at their local McDonald’s in the New Year.
Customers can verify if it is currently at the McDonald’s nearest them through the full menu in the chain’s mobile application or by using Mobile Order & Pay with curbside pickup.
“McDonald’s Strawberry and Creme Pie has returned!!” he exclaimed.
Those who have had the chance to taste it before know that there’s a strawberry filling along with vanilla-flavored creme inside a baked crust with a sugar coating on top.
It has 280 calories, three grams of protein, 34 grams of carbs, and 15 grams of fat, according to McDonald’s website.
McDonald’s says the Strawberry and Creme Pie is so good that it finds “a way to your heart.”
For some customers, that is most certainly the case, as they cried out in joy over it being brought back.
BABY COME BACK
“Let’s go!!! Always so good,” someone commented on Devo’s post.
“EXCELLENT” another added.
“Omg I just checked the app & we have them,” a third wrote.
“A true miracle since we never get seasonal pies here.”
It’s true, the Strawberry and Creme Pie is typically a seasonal offering at McDonald’s and is taken on and off the menu as the months go by.
The last time it was seen on menus was a year ago in January 2024, per Fox Business.
History of McDonald's Value Menus
The fast food giant first introduced its Dollar Menu in 2002.
In 2013, McDonald’s announced plans to eliminate the Dollar Menu and introduced the “Dollar Menu & More,” which included items over $1.
The chain officially discontinued its Dollar Menu in 2014.
In 2018, McDonald’s re-introduced a variation of the Dollar Menu called the “$1 $2 $3 Dollar Menu,” offering different items at these three price points.
The fast food giant will introduce its newest value platform, McValue, in January 2025.
SNACK ATTACK
Customers at McDonald’s are also anxiously awaiting a confirmed date for the return of another beloved menu item — the Snack Wrap.
McDonald’s used to offer the Snack Wrap in America in grilled and crispy versions until it was discontinued in 2016.
Some franchisees still sold them for years later until the height of the coronavirus pandemic in 2020 wiped them out for good.
Since then, McDonald’s USA president Joe Erlinger has said that he constantly gets pleas for the Snack Wrap to return, per an interview with ABC News.
McDonald’s later teased the Snack Wrap’s comeback in 2025 in a cryptic post on social media.
Some customers expect it to be different, however.
In September, there were McCrispy Chicken Strips spotted being tested at select McDonald’s locations, and it seems they will be included in the new version of the Snack Wrap.
McDonald’s also came under scrutiny recently after an E.coli outbreak was tied to the Quarter Pounder with Cheese by health officials.
It also faces a lawsuit from several frustrated customers over alleged misleading advertising concerning breakfast combos.
