
A 41-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of raping a woman in Preston last week.
Preston Police were called after midnight on Wednesday 8 January to a report that a woman in her 30s has been raped and assaulted on Meadow Street.
They released images of a man they wanted to speak to and yesterday (12 January) arrested a man who is in custody.

An investigation is being conducted by a dedicated team of detectives supported by specialist officers.
The victim continues to be supported.
