Thai Ends restaurant announces closure after just four months

Thai Ends, a restaurant in Preston, has announced its permanent closure after ongoing staffing issues.

The restaurant in Tulketh Brow, Lane Ends in Ashton-on-Ribble opened in September last year and served Thai food and was gaining a strong reputation.

Owner and Investor, David Watters, made the announcement on Facebook and confirmed the statement when contacted by Blog Preston.

He said: “It is with a heavy heart that we announce the permanent closure of Thai Ends as of last night, Sunday 12 January 2025.

“Unfortunately, ongoing staffing issues have made it impossible to continue operating despite my best efforts to resolve the situation.

“To all our valued customers. If you have purchased vouchers, these can still be redeemed.

“Alternatively, you may hold onto them to use at our new restaurant, which we plan to open within the next month.

“Please note, the new restaurant will not be Thai cuisine, but we will still honour all vouchers.

“I sincerely apologise for any inconvenience caused and want to thank you for your incredible support over the past few months.

“Your loyalty has meant the world to us, and I look forward to welcoming you to this exciting new chapter soon.”
