THE 1% Club is returning for a second season, but with some major changes.
Fox has announced it will exclusively air the popular game show for the 2025-26 season, as Amazon steps back from the series.

In another surprising twist, Joel McHale is taking over hosting duties from Patton Oswalt.
Fox President Michael Thorn shared his excitement about the transition, saying: “Joel’s outstanding comedic timing and hosting charm already make him a standout talent here at Fox.
“Building on The 1% Club’s strong first year, we’re bringing his unrivaled energy, irreverence, and charisma to Season 2.”
Joel McHale, who is no stranger to Fox audiences thanks to his work on Crime Scene Kitchen and Animal Control, gushed over the new gig, sharing: “I am 1,000,000% excited to be partnering with Fox to host The 1% Club.
He went on to show off his sense of humour, joking: “I absolutely love the show and love the gameplay to the 10𝑥 and guarantee my hair, makeup, and wardrobe will look great at least 68% of the time.”
The game show, which debuted on Prime Video in 2024, pits 100 contestants against each other in a battle of wits.
It was based on a British series with the same name which airs on ITV.
Unlike traditional trivia shows, The 1% Club challenges players to think critically and solve puzzles designed to test how their brains work.
Contestants are given the chance to win up to $100,000.
Ryan O’Dowd, President of Unscripted at BBC Studios Los Angeles Productions, has also praised the new show host.
He told prospective viewers: “99% of us are unfortunately not as funny as Joel McHale, which makes him the perfect host for The 1% Club.
“His unmatched approach to comedy is innately unpredictable and will take audiences on a thrill ride as they watch him in action with our contestants.”
