President Donald Trump will withdraw the United States from the Paris climate agreement for the second time, delivering a blow to the effort to keep global temperatures from rising to dangerous levels.
Trump’s move, announced Monday, means the U.S. will exit the landmark 2015 compact in which nearly 200 nations agreed to jointly take action to cut the greenhouse gases fueling stronger storms, wildfires, heatwaves and catastrophic flooding.
