Best drag brunches in London

I’ve been to a lot of drag brunches, but not many compare to the legendary drag brunches in London. Expect the best of the best in this LGBTQ+ friendly city so grab your pals and your sense of humour, and get ready to slay!

1. Gingers Big Drag Brunch at Balls Brothers Austin Friars

A group of four people with different types of drinks in their hands are happily conversing at a restaurant.

Coined as London’s most outrageous drag brunch, you won’t want to miss out on this weekly shenanigan. With entertainment by Ms. Ginger Phlappage and her sassy crew of kings and queens, expect hypnotising performances and first-class banter. Nobody is safe, so thick skin is a must!

The bottomless brunch package includes free-flowing fizz for 90 minutes and a 2-course meal. For non-drinkers, there are entry-only tickets available making this an excellent choice for big groups and celebrations.

Where to next? Hop on the central line and be in Soho within 20 minutes. From here you can dance until the early hours at iconic London gay bars like GAY and Village.

2. Themed Drag Brunches at Tonight Josephine

Did somebody say sing-a-long drag brunch? Well, that’s exactly what you have to look forward to at Tonight Josephine’s weekly themed parties. From Mamma Mia to Pop Icons, the party unfolds to the backdrop of your favourite sing-a-long tunes.

The parties are hosted by the best queens and kings in the biz. So while you’re sipping on your bottomless fizz, beer, or cocktails, they’ll be strutting their stuff, making sure you have a fun and fabulous time.

Where to next? Some of the best gay bars in London are within walking distance of the Clapham venue. Be sure to check out Arch and The Bridge.

3. Bottomless Brunch at Blame Gloria

A group of friends have a great time at a nightclub, letting loose and enjoying each other's company on the dance floor.

We have Gloria to blame for the sin and debauchery at this weekly bottomless brunch in London. A glitzy and glamorous affair where you can let your hair down and indulge in 90 minutes of unlimited booze and a tasty brunch dish.

But it wouldn’t be a party without the kings and queens who provide jaw-dropping entertainment and belly-aching laughter throughout. Don’t be surprised if you end up in the firing line of their shade – there is no filter here.

Where to next? Why not check out Fire Nightclub – one of the most notorious gay nightclubs in London.

4. Drag Brunch at Dalston Superstore

A gay couple cosy up in a coffee shop, they are laughing together and enjoying each others company while drinking coffee in a modern/trendy cafe.

This next London drag brunch has become a cult classic. A place to nurse last night’s hangover and potentially put you in good stead for another one tomorrow. Featuring a rotating line-up of drag icons, this is THE place to be on a weekend in the city.

The great thing about this London drag brunch (other than the queens and cocktails) is that you only pay a small entry fee. All food and drink is covered separately so it’s a great choice for non-drinkers and mixed groups.

Where to next? Cheek out The Divine for LGBTQ comedy and cabaret or the Karaoke Hole to belt your lungs out into the early hours.

5. Bottomless Drag Brunch at Mrs Riot

Carefree group of friends laughing together in a restaurant. Four young queer people having fun together during lunch. Friends bonding and spending time together.

I predict a riot at this next weekly extravaganza in London. Featuring iconic drag superstars and burlesque talent, this is one of the most diverse and entertaining brunch events in the city.

Your ticket includes 90 minutes of free-flowing cocktails, including the much-loved pornstar martini and unlimited vegan cupcakes. You can also order additional food from the menu.

Where to next? Mrs Riot is just around the corner from Soho where you can take your pick from the various gay bars or enjoy live music at Ronnie Scotts.

6. Bottomless Drag Brunch at Queen of Hoxton

There’s only one rule at Queen of Hoxton’s bottomless drag brunch and that is: dress to kill! So round up the huns, don your best outfit, and get ready for brunch like you’ve never seen it before.

Your ticket includes 60 minutes of bottomless fizz or mimosas plus a welcome cocktail. On the food menu is a 2-course brunch of sweet and savoury waffles. And of course, there’s side-splitting drag entertainment from seductive lip-syncs to boozy bingo.

Where to next? Queen of Hoxton spans three floors with DJs playing party anthems well into the early hours.

7. Bougie Drag Bottomless Brunch at Fire London / Vauxhall

A drag performer in black dress, feathered cape, and pearl necklaces sings on a stage with blue lights.

One of the most renowned drag brunches in all of the UK, the Bougie Drag Bottomless Brunch is not for the faint of heart. Captivating queens, tantalising performances, and a whole lot of debaucherous fun is a taster of what you can expect.

This is another great event for non-drinkers and mixed groups that want different types of tickets depending on preferences.  The bottomless package includes 90 minutes of Prosecco, cocktail jugs and beer, plus indulgent food like burgers and hot dogs.

Where to next? The famous gay nightclub Fire.

8. Decades Bottomless Brunch at Nikki’s Bar

A group of ladies laughing while having a great time drinking in a bar.

Bewitching entertainment, limitless booze, and cheesy pop classics. What is there not to love? That’s exactly what’s on the menu when you book a drag brunch at Nikki’s bar.

Every weekend, the provocative hosts take guests on a nostalgic trip through the decades featuring music from the 80’s, 90’s, and 00’s. Plus, enjoy 90 minutes of unlimited booze (including cocktails) and a scrumptious brunch dish of your choice.

Where to next? Head to other East London haunts like The Book Club or Dalston Superstore for more fun.

9. The Drag Brunchette at Zebrano London

A happy, black kinky woman enjoying the night dancing at the bar.

Set in the heart of Soho, Zebrano hosts the longest-running drag brunch in London! Expect traditional afternoon tea on the menu accompanied by 90 minutes of bottomless bellinis – how very fancy.

What starts off as a civilised affair soon escalates as the queens take you on a riveting journey of wild dance-offs, captivating sing-a-longs and sassy comedy. As the bubbles flow, the outrageousness grows.

Where to next? You don’t have to. With five floors, six separate bars and a roof terrace, continue the party at Zebrano’s until 3 am.

10. Drag Brunch at La Bodega Negra

Three people sitting at a restaurant table while glancing over menus.

Last but not least on my list of drag brunches in London is the iconic Mexican restaurant La Bodega Negra. It’s a slightly more expensive experience, but when you’ve tasted the food here you’ll understand why.

Food aside, the raucous entertainment is as good as it gets featuring fierce drag queens serving up unforgettable performances. You’ll also enjoy 90 minutes of bottomless booze including prosecco, mimosas and margaritas.

Where to next? Slap bang in the middle of Soho, you’ll have no shortage of options for carrying on the party!
