An event dedicated to empowering people with learning disabilities is set to take place in Avenham.
Host, Pukar Disability Centre, has been supporting people with disabilities and their carers from diverse communities for over 25 years.
Speaking to Blog Preston, Outreach Officer Suraya Bashir said: “Throughout our journey, we have seen that individuals with learning disabilities often face challenges such as social isolation, discrimination, and barriers to accessing essential services.
“We believe that everyone should have more choice and control in their lives. That’s why our upcoming Disability Day is so important.”
