A Preston store remains closed and a cordon in place after an incident police are treating as attempted murder.
Officers were called to B&M at around 12.37pm this afternoon (26 February) after reports of an assault and found a man in his 40s with stab wounds to his leg.
Witness reports indicated that the victim was a security guard and police did not contest this when asked by Blog Preston.

Police said the man has been taken to hospital in a ‘very poorly’ condition and that another man, 27 and of no fixed abode, has been arrested.
Images taken this evening show a police presence at the B&M store, close to the bus station, with a cordon still in place.
A police spokesperson said: “A man has now been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and robbery and remains in custody.
“This is not being treated as a terror-related incident and we would ask that people do not engage in any unhelpful speculation.”
