Brittany Mahomes breaks down in tears after emotional message following Patrick’s Super Bowl loss in Chiefs-Eagles

BRITTANY Mahomes was left in tears after seeing an emotional message for her family.

The Kansas City Chiefs were stunned in the Super Bowl, losing 40-22 to the Philadelphia Eagles.

The weeks leading up to the Super Bowl, and eventually the big game, were emotional for the Mahomes family.

First, Brittany gave birth to the family’s third child and second daughter, Golden Raye.

Soon after that, Patrick Mahomes‘ mother, Randy, revealed his grandfather was entering hospice care.

She said he was “hanging on” to see Mahomes play in Super Bowl LIX.

After all of the events leading up to the Super Bowl, and ultimately the Super Bowl loss, the Mahomes’ infant sleep coach paid tribute to them on social media.

“Not only is Patrick a standout football player, changing the game with his talent and integrity both on and off the field, but he’s also redefining what fatherhood looks like – even with a full plate,” Jenna Artis wrote on her Instagram Story.

“Britt and Patrick!!! You both have taught me so much. I never knew how much dads wanted to be included in bath time, waking up from naps, or that they cared to know every little detail (fits, naps, how they ate/poop etc) about their kids simply because they wanted to – even having the full days like you do. 

“To so many, you’re the #1 football player, but to three little ones, you’re the #1 dad -and one of the most incredible fathers I’ve had the privilege of working with and for.

“And Britt, you are the glue. The way you juggle it all with grace, little sleep, selflessness, and love is truly inspiring. You’re an amazing mom, (like truly. Inspired how you do it all), a wonderful human, and a friend anyone would be lucky to have. 

“I just can’t say enough about the kind of people, parents, and role models you both are.

“This is just a little reminder to the world that kindness matters – and that Patrick is so much more than just a football player.”

Brittany reposted the message to her Instagram Story with the caption “Crying.”

Artis posted her message over quotes where Mahomes took accountability for the Chiefs’ Super Bowl loss.

“They played better than us from start to finish,” Mahomes said.

“We didn’t start how we wanted to. The turnovers hurt. I take all the blame for that.

“Those turnovers swing the moment of the game and they capitalized on them. 

“They scored on one and got a touchdown immediately after another. That’s 14 points I gave them. 

“It’s hard to come back from that in the Super Bowl. I didn’t play to my standard and I have to be better next time.”

Mahomes also personally addressed Chiefs fans on X after the game.

“Appreciate all the love and support from Chiefs Kingdom,” he wrote.

“I let y’all down today. I’ll always continue to work and try and learn and be better for it.

“Want to give thanks to God for every opportunity he has given me. We will be back.”
