A CHILD killer on death row for murdering his six-year-old stepson has died just weeks before his execution.
Christopher Sepulvado was convicted after beating Wesley Allen Mercer, six, and scolding him until he died.

Sepulvado, 81, killed Mercer after he came back from school with soiled underwear in 1992.
He was convicted of murder and sentenced to death the following year.
Sepulvado had been on death row for more than 30 years and his lawyers revealed that he was terminally ill.
His lawyers revealed he had surgery in New Orleans where he had his leg amputated, per USA Today.
But, Sepulvado was hauled back to the Louisiana State Penitentiary on Friday.
Sepulvado was due to be executed on March 17.
Mercer’s mom Yvonne Jones served more than seven years behind bars after being convicted of manslaughter.
