Motorists on the M55 and M6 have seen delays of more than an hour due to multiple crashes.
The M55 has delays stretching back from the Broughton roundabout to Junction 3 after a crash close to where it meets the M6.
Blog Preston understands four vehicles were involved in a crash near the Broughton interchange.
