A Perth grandmother has been extradited from the UK for allegedly stealing more than $1.6 million from a Port Kennedy business.
Annie Melanie Lucas appeared in court today on 103 charges that date back 18 years to when she was employed in an administrative role at a contracting company.
Lucas looked like any other returned traveller when seen at Perth Airport, but the people around her were police officers, extraditing the 62-year-old from the UK, back to Perth.

Today WA's police force sent a message to the community.
"No matter the length of time or distance involved, investigators will not give up until they bring those responsible before the court to face justice," they warned.
Annie Lucas briefly appeared in court today, without saying a word, as her family watched from the back of the courtroom.
She will reappear on Monday where it's expected she'll apply for bail.
