DONALD Trump has confirmed he has swapped out the Resolute Desk in the Oval Office.

Trump’s White House shakeup comes just days after Elon Musk’s little son X was seen picking his nose and reportedly left the president a present.

Little tyke X, four, appeared to steal the show when his Tesla mogul dad joined Trump for a question and answer session.

Today, Trump announced that the Resolute Desk is being spruced up.

It has been replaced by the C&O desk used by former president George H.W. Bush.

“This is a beautiful, but temporary replacement,” he said.

The Resolute Desk is one of seven options presidents can choose from.

It was first used by John F. Kennedy in 1961.

And, the Resolute Desk was a permanent fixture in the Oval Office during the Obama and Biden presidencies.

Trump’s temporary replacement is the C&O desk, designed by the Chesapeake and Ohio Railway company.

It was donated to the White House in 1987.

The C&O desk has previously been seen in the White House’s West Wing Study

But, George H.W. Bush put the desk front and center in the Oval Office.
