A head-on crash involving a ride-share car in Perth has left a young woman dead, a man fighting for life and another man injured.
The 24-year-old woman was killed about 10pm yesterday, just metres from her destination on Birdwood Parade in Dalkeith.
It's understood the collision occurred when a 45-year-old man lost control of his Jaguar and mounted the curb, crossing onto the wrong side of the road and slamming into a Honda head-first.

The woman was left unconscious in the passenger seat of the Honda.
"It was just a massive crash, it was just an awful thing to hear," resident Ellen told 9News.
Neighbours rushed to help the woman.
"Someone from just the public were giving CPR until ambulance arrived quite a bit later," Ellen said.
Despite efforts from paramedics, the passenger died from her injuries.
The driver of the Honda, a man in his 20s working as a ride-share driver, was left trapped in the car and had to be cut out by the jaws of life.
He was fighting for life in the Royal Perth Hospital tonight.
The man in the Jaguar suffered serious injuries.
He is helping police with their investigation.
