A Victorian airport has been locked down after a man allegedly carrying a gun was detained after boarding a Jetstar flight bound for Sydney.
The man was detained on board the plane at Avalon Airport in Geelong, with officers called to the scene about 2.50pm.
Police have taken the man into custody.

Nobody was injured in the incident, and a police investigation is ongoing.
Avalon Airport is currently closed, with no one allowed to enter or leave.
