PAMELA Bach-Hasselhoff and David Hasselhoff were embroiled in a bitter divorce battle that lasted years before Pamela’s sudden death.

The Baywatch actors ended their 17 years of marriage with a legal feud that left Hasselhoff paying his ex-wife thousands of dollars a month in alimony for over a decade.

Bach-Hasselhoff was found dead in her home on Wednesday after her family members became worried when they didn’t hear from her for days.

The actress died by suicide at 62 and didn’t leave a note, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

Her ex-husband shared a statement saying their family is “deeply saddened by the recent passing of Pamela Hasselhoff.”

Hasselhoff and Bach-Hasselhoff split in 2006, leaving their two daughters and their Los Angeles mansion caught in the middle of a nasty divorce.

The former iconic couple split due to “irreconcilable differences,” but Bach-Hasselhoff later confessed their marriage ended due to Hasselhoff’s alcoholism, which he has spoken about publicly over the years.

The divorce was contentious as Bach-Hasselhoff also accused her ex-husband of domestic abuse.

Following their split, each parent got custody of one daughter.

Their divorce settlement also left Hasselhoff paying $21,000 a month in spousal support to Bach-Hasselhoff.

The Baywatch actor, who was estimated to be worth $10 million at the time, eventually found himself out of cash due to the agreement.

In 2016, Hasselhoff told courts he was too broke to afford his ex-wife’s payouts.

The star claimed he had less than $4,000 in his bank account at the time, court documents show.

Bach-Hasselhoff agreed to lessen the payments, allowing him to pay just $10,000 a month.

He TV star told ET at the time he never imagined running out of money.

“I was laughing about all these people who made money and lost it, and I was saying, ‘How could that happen to them?’” Hasselhoff told the outlet in 2016.

Actress Pamela Bach-Hasselhoff appeared in the hit show Baywatch in multiple roles across 10 years.

After primarily playing cafe owner Kaye Morgan for the first six seasons on Baywatch, Pamela took on the roles of Carly, Sara Chapman, and Bree Hanford when she appeared on the show again in Seasons 8 and 10.

He suggested Bach-Hasselhoff should find work, but Bach-Hasselhoff fired back that it was hard for actresses at her age to find gigs, according to TMZ.

In 2017, the payments were reduced to just $5,000 a month.

At the time, Hasselhoff claimed he had paid over $2.5 million to Bach-Hasselhoff since their divorce.

He paid the halved amount from December 2017 until November 30, 2020, according to TMZ.

After Bach-Hasselhoff and Hasselhoff divorced in 2016, Hasselhoff went on to marry Hayley Roberts in 2018.
