Cover up plants, especially those in frost-prone areas. Take preventative measures to protect frost-sensitive plants and trees," reads Environment Canada's notice.</p><p>But before you panic about an impending cold snap, there's good news! The weather is expected to take a turn for the better as the week progresses.</p><p>Starting Thursday, temperatures will begin to climb, with a high of 13 C predicted. By Friday, the mercury will reach 15 C, followed by a pleasant 18 C on Saturday. And for those of you craving warm, sunny days, Sunday will see a high of 20 C. This is comparable to May when the <a href="https://climate.weather.gc.ca/climate_normals/results_1991_2020_e.html?searchType=stnProv&lstProvince=QC&txtCentralLatMin=0&txtCentralLatSec=0&txtCentralLongMin=0&txtCentralLongSec=0&stnID=123000000&dispBack=0" target="_blank" rel="noopener">average high in Montreal</a> is 19.4 C. </p><p>Lows throughout the rest of the week are expected to range from 1 C to 9 C.</p><p>Best of all?
