Pro-Fit, at the Capitol Trade Park, is opening its doors this weekend to celebrate International Women’s Day 2025.
From 12pm to 3pm on Saturday 15 March, the personal training facility will run a fitness programme to ‘educate, inspire and connect women’ in the community.

Lani Akin, personal trainer and female health expert at Pro-Fit said: “With this event, we want to create a space where women in Preston can come together, support each other, and feel empowered to take charge of their health and well-being.
“We’ve helped many women achieve incredible results while navigating unique challenges, and we’re excited to extend that support to even more women in our community.
“Last year’s event was attended by more than 100 local women and was a fantastic example of a group of females of all ages and backgrounds coming together to share their experiences, train together and uplift each other. We can’t wait to replicate that feeling this year and are hoping that this event will be even bigger and better.
“I would encourage everyone to come along – bring a friend or come alone (we’re a friendly and inclusive bunch that will make anyone feel welcome). It’s a brilliant way to mark International Women’s Day.”

The event programme includes an empowerment workshop, women’s team training session, yoga, sound bathing, local supplier stands as well as networking and refreshments.
With limited spots available, women interested in attending are encouraged to register as soon as possible here.
Pro-Fit Preston is located at Unit 1, Capital Trade Park.
