Four teenagers are to appear in court after the stabbing of two 15-year-old boys in Moor Park earlier this week.

Preston Police say a 14-year-old boy has been charged with attempted murder and possession of a bladed article.

A 15-year-old boy has been charged with section 18 wounding, possession of a bladed article and affray.

A 16-year-old boy has been charged with affray and assisting an offender and another 16-year-old boy has been charged with assisting an offender. All four teenagers cannot be named for legal reasons due to their ages.

All four are due to appear at Preston Youth Court during Friday (4 April) to face charges in connection with the stabbing at the junction of Blackpool Road and Garstang Road in Moor Park which took place around 4pm on Monday 31 March.

Police say a 15-year-old boy who received a stab wound remains in hospital for treatment.

A second 15-year-old boy was also stabbed and has injuries but they are described as ‘not serious’.
