The big shave took place on Friday 7 February at a local pub on Eldon Street.

Sean said the head shave was brought on by “a strong connection to the Centre” as well as the people it serves.

Without hesitation after the plan of shaving his head came to mind, Sean set out visiting local shops and clubs for support and donations.

In a response to his new look Sean said: ““Most people said I actually suit being bald.”

“And the hair’s grown back so fast, it shocked everyone.”

He added: “It feels good to do something for someone else. I’d like to do more, but I’ll give it a bit of time to think about what I can do.”
