A woman has been banned from flying with Jetstar for the foreseeable future after she tried to open the doors of a flight from Bali to Melbourne.
JQ34 was an hour into its journey last night when the woman managed to lift the door's handle before a warning signal alerted the crew, according to the airline.
The captain of the plane decided to return to Denpasar Airport, where the woman was arrested.

Passenger and Australian Survivor: All Stars contestant Brooke Jowett said the woman wanted a better seat.
"She wanted to sit in a different row and have a chair that could recline, so she decided to try to open the doors," Jowett said.
"One of the guys who was sitting in front of us was down near the toilets and he pulled her away from the door as she was trying to open it."
More than 200 passengers were also offloaded in Denpasar and put on new flights.
A spokesperson for Jetstar said the safety and welfare of its customers and crew remained the airline's top priority.
"We had an aircraft return to Denpasar last night after a disruptive passenger attempted to open one of the aircraft doors and was abusive to our crew," a Jetstar spokesperson said.
"This sort of unacceptable behaviour will never be tolerated on our flights."
The incident comes days after another Jetstar incident where two men got into a scuffle on a Bali flight sparked by a reclining seat.
It has prompted calls for passengers to be screened before they board.
"The only solution that the airlines do have is to actually breathalyse before they get on board and then enforce those rules," Australian Traveller founder Quentin Long said.
