
A body pulled from Preston Docks is believed to be a missing young man from Fulwood, police have said.
Police were seen searching the area yesterday (28 May) after issuing an appeal regarding his whereabouts on Tuesday (27 May).
They have now confirmed that officers found a body in the water and that they believe that body to be missing Connor Hanson who was 22.

His death is not being treated as suspicious and his family have been informed.
A spokesperson for police said: “Officers carrying out enquires in Preston Docks sadly found a man’s body in the water yesterday (28th May).
“Although formal identification is yet to take place, we believe it to be Connor. Connor’s family have been informed of the sad development and are being supported by specially trained officers.
“Connor’s death is not being treated as suspicious and a file will be passed to HM Coroner in due course.”
