A Preston spoken word and alt-rap artist based has released a new single drawing on their mental health journey.
Mimi Satanista describes themselves as a genre-blending artist and producer who turns paranoia into poetry.
Their new track, Delusional, came out on Friday (9 May) and is available to listen to on Spotify.
The spoken word piece is set against glitchy, bass-heavy production, fusing distorted beats and raw rap vocals.
Born from lived experience and crafted with care, rage, and love, Delusional explores themes of mental health, psychosis, paranoia, and generational trauma.
Mimi says the track reflects their journey navigating mental illness, identity, and an evolving relationship with self and sanity.

Speaking to Blog Preston, Mimi said: “Delusional is a chaotic, cathartic spiral through psychosis, glitchy self-reflection, and euphoric defiance.
“Deeply personal, the track was created for those who feel unseen, unheard, or isolated by their mental health experiences.
“Delusional is unfiltered, otherworldly, and painfully real. It isn’t just a song – it’s an insight into the world of psychosis.”
