
A man from Leyland will be sentenced later this year after pleading guilty to rape, robbery, kidnap and other offences.
Police launched an investigation after they were called to reports of a rape in the Sephton Street area of Lostock Hall just after midnight on 17 April.
The victim had reportedly been taken in a car to the area after being threatened with a knife in Leyland.

Police later received a separate report of a man breaking into a property in Preston.
Police identified a suspect and he had been charged by 18 April.
Neil Reid, 43, of Towngate, Leyland, appeared before Preston Crown Court this morning (May 27) and admitted two counts of rape, two counts of attempted robbery, one of kidnap, one of committing an offence with intent to commit a sexual offence, and one of threatening another with an article with a blade or point.
He has been remanded in custody and will be sentenced in July.
