
Two people have been arrested after a high value burglary close to UCLan.
Police were called to Tuson Drive in Preston yesterday (6 May) to reports a car and other items had been stolen.
A laptop, electrical items and jewellery valued at around £6,000 were stolen during the night along with a Mercedes C Class.

Police have since arrested a 20-year-old man from Preston on suspicion of burglary. A 55-year-old woman has also been arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender, police said.
Both are currently in our custody waiting to be questioned.
A spokesperson for police said: “Operation Defender is a force-wide campaign that aims to combat residential burglary with support from Lancashire’s Police and Crime Commissioner Clive Grunshaw.”
