A local charity set to host event to support for those overcoming substance misuse.

The Tribal Project, based in Preston, have planned a Big Fundraising Day in mid-June.

Hosted at Plungington Community Centre on June 21, 12noon to 4pm, it will include a tombola, food stalls, an ice cream van, and live music.

The event aims to provide finds to continue their work in the continued support they bring for people overcoming or recovering from substance misuse and associated mental health issues.

The funds from the event will support their delivery of their workshops, personalised recovery plans, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Rational Emotive Therapy at the community centre.

The event is open to the general public.
