THE Pittsburgh Steelers have been predicted to make an Aaron Rodgers announcement next week, but there are still worries over the quarterback.
The uncertainty continues over the 41-year-old Rodgers‘ future in the NFL.

Rodgers remains unsigned with the Steelers, and the first day of voluntary OTAs (Organized Team Activities) has been completed.
It seems that Rodgers is expected to sign with the Steelers, as NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reported that he could announce his decision during mandatory minicamp, which takes place from June 10 to June 12.
However, Rapoport also hasn’t ruled out the four-time MVP retiring from the NFL.
“It would be a surprise if Aaron Rodgers is not on the Steelers right now,” Rapoport said on NFL Network’s The Insiders.
“I’m not saying he’s made a decision.
“I’m not saying retirement’s ruled out, but it would be a surprise.
“Maybe a better question is just when, and to me, the one that makes the most sense is for Rodgers to announce… right before mandatory minicamp.
Other NFL insiders, including ESPN’s Adam Schefter, have also predicted that Rodgers will make his decision during mandatory minicamp.
However, Rodgers has missed mandatory minicamp in the past.
While Rodgers is expected to join the Steelers, he has also been linked with the New Orleans Saints.
It was rumored that the Saints could sign Rodgers to replace Derek Carr, who announced his retirement earlier this month after dealing with injuries that likely would’ve caused him to miss most of the upcoming season.
Over the weekend, Rodgers took part in a Q&A session at rapper Mike Stud’s concert and shared that he could join a team that “might play in Chicago this year.“
It seemed to be an inference that he was referring to the Steelers, who play the Bears on the road in the upcoming season.
But the Saints also take on the Bears on the road in the 2025 regular season.
However, Rodgers then revealed that he’s not interested in rocking the Saints uniform.

He shut down a fan’s question about playing for the Saints.
“No,” Rodgers said at the Austin, Texas function.
“That’s the answer.
“I’ve played there a couple of times, but no. I’m too old.”
“I don’t want to live in Louisiana. Sorry.”
