A call for The Gentry to be celebrated at every Preston North End home game is being made.
Preston North End supporters are planning a ‘tifo’ to show their backing for the club.
During the FA Cup game against Aston Villa in March then Deepdale saw a glimpse of what could be created and it follows the PNE Flags campaign at previous games.

Local artist and illustrator David Robinson is being lined up to create the Gentry-themed giant artwork to be held up by fans.
His creation will reflect pride, dignity and unity which is celebrated each year in Gentry Day when Lillywhites fans wear bowler hats to a chosen away game.
A tifo is a co-ordinated visual display by supporters usually unveiled before or during a football match to show passionate backing for their team – it stems from the Italian word tifosi.

A spokesperson for PNE Flags by supporters group PNE Online said: “This isn’t just about one day. It’s about giving our supporters — and those we’ve lost — a place in Deepdale for years to come. Something timeless. Something ours.”
PNE fans will be able to add the name of a loved one or a friend in tribute for just £1 or more onto the artwork.
The supporters group is also calling on local businesses and organisations to get involved in backing the tifo.

Fans can donate and add a name to the tifo by going to this Stripe page
