Three men from Birmingham were arrested in Lancashire after the car they were travelling in was found to be carrying £25,000 in cash.
Police were on patrol on the M6 at around 3pm yesterday (27 May) when they stopped a black Mercedes G Wagon around junction 28 close to Leyland.
The car, the driver, and two passengers, were searched under section 23 of the misuse of drugs act. This allows police to carry out a search if they believe that there are reasonable grounds to suspect that a person is in possession of a controlled drug.
