TSA has warned travelers of a carry-on rule that could spark major delays if not followed.
Flyers were warned about a ‘saucy’ item which could cause delays if passengers don’t store it properly.

In celebration of National Hamburger Day, the security agency reminded passengers of their liquids policy.
Its Facebook post included lots of puns intended to remind flyers of the integral rules.
They wrote: “Bringing beef in your bag? Today is National Hamburger Day after all, so lettuce help, because burgers are a grill-ty pleasure you can bring with you.
“Solid foods like hamburgers are good to go in your carry-on.
“Just don’t get too saucy, any extra bottles of sauce must follow the 3.4oz liquids rule if you’re bringing it through the checkpoint.
“Don’t let packing mistakes ketchup with you.”
Their website reminds flyers that they are allowed to bring a quart-sized bag of liquids, aerosols, gels, creams and pastes.
Each individual container can hold up to 3.4 ounces (100 millilitres) or less.
During the screening process the bag of liquids should be removed from the carry-on baggage.
Any liquids that are flagged during the screening process will require additional screening.
TSA does allow certain exemptions to these rules.
Medication and infant and child nourishment products are not subject to the same requirements and can be taken through without limitation.
For those arriving in the US on an international flight, duty free liquids can be carried under certain circumstances.
This enables passengers to bring more than the allowed 3.4 ounces through security if it meets certain requirements.
It applies if duty free liquids were purchased internationally and you will be boarding a connecting flight upon arriving in the US.
The liquids must also be packed in a “transparent, secure, tamper-evident bag by the retailer and do not show signs of tampering when presented to TSA for screening.”
Finally, passengers must show a valid original receipt showing the product was purchased within the last 48 hours.
Alternatively, passengers can store liquids over 3.4 ounces in their checked baggage, rather than their carry-on bag to avoid these restrictions.
Before flying, it is important that passengers remain up to date on the latest travel advice given by their designated airline.
This has become increasingly important in light of changes made by airlines like United, which recently changed its check-in policy.
