The Circus with a Purpose, an event especially designed for children who are disabled or have additional needs, is returning to Preston.
With this year’s show providing a British Sign Language singer for deaf members of the audience, the show adapts its events to suit the unique audience by lowering the volume and providing sensory packs.
As a not-for-profit organisation, Circus Starr primarily operates from donations to ensure each child ticket is free and accessible for most families.

Fundraising director Michelle Crossley said: “We love sharing our fun events with those who usually miss out!
“Whilst our show is very visual, it is important to us that those who are deaf can enjoy the performance in its entirety, and we are proud to have the interpreters at each of our shows to help make that possible.
“Thank you so much to the kind businesses who help us continue our valuable work.”
Their next event will take place just one year after their previous Preston show.
Held at The Crossgate Church in St Mary’s Street North on Wednesday (11 June) at both 4.45pm and 7pm, you can apply for tickets here.
