It’s officially the end of the road for Hugh Jackman and Deborra-Lee Furness’ marriage.
The former couple’s divorce was finalised on 12 June, according to online court records from New York’s Suffolk County Supreme Court obtained by People magazine. However, the document wasn’t made public until Monday.
Representatives for both Hugh and Deborra-Lee didn’t immediately respond to HuffPost’s requests for comment.
Deborra-Lee filed for divorce from the Deadpool & Wolverine star nearly a month ago on 27 May. The pair, who tied the knot in 1996, first announced they were calling it quits back in September 2023.
The pair share two adult children, Ava and Oscar. The two initially claimed their separation was amicable, but late last month, Debrorr-Lee slammed their split as a “traumatic journey of betrayal.”
Calling her divorce from Hugh a “profound wound that cuts deep,” she told People in a statement: “My heart and compassion goes out to everyone who has traversed the traumatic journey of betrayal.”
Hugh has been romantically linked to his former co-star in a recent Broadway revival of The Music Man Sutton Foster since earlier this year. The two stars later went public with their romance in January, when they were spotted on a romantic date night in California.
The Broadway production began previews in late 2021, earning six Tony nominations, including acting nods for both Hugh and Sutton, before closing for good in 2023.
Sutton filed for divorce from her ex-husband, Ted Griffin, in October 2024 after 10 years of marriage.
