Delays are building on the M55 after a crash near to junction 2 for Edith Rigby Way.
Emergency services were called shortly before 12noon on Monday (16 June).
The crash is on the westbound side of the motorway heading towards Blackpool.
Lancashire Police are at the scene.
Motorists are reporting delays back to the Broughton interchange starting to build as crews work at the scene of the crash which is understood to involve two cars.
A police spokesperson confirmed to Blog Preston two-cars were involved and there are minor injuries.
