
A motorcyclist has been airlifted to hospital after a crash on the M6.
Lancashire Police said the M6 exit slip road at Junction 28 is likely to remain closed for some time following the crash.
The crash took place at 6.23pm on Saturday (7 June) and temporarily shut the motorway in both directions while the air ambulance landed.

A man has been taken to hospital with serious injuries, according to police.
The M6 has re-opened in both directions with the slip road remaining closed.
Anyone who witnessed the incident or who has dashcam footage is asked to call police on 101 quoting log 1085 of 7 June.
