This year marks 50 years of the Sir Tom since it opened in 1975 with the ribbon being cut by the legendary PNE winger himself.
Chairman of Central Lancashire CAMRA Adrian Smith said: “The Sir Tom Finney is a very worthy winner of this award. In just over two years at the helm Jen Williams has made a real difference. Her pub not only serves a changing range of very good cask ales she and her team have also placed her pub at the heart of the local community.
“We believe that being named as our Summer Pub of the Season is an appropriate recognition of everything she has achieved.”

Alongside regularly changing up the cask ales then Jen won praise for the Finney Away Days club created for PNE matches as well as regular quiz, bingo, pool and entertainment nights.
Jen Williams said: “It’s a great honour for us to win this award from CAMRA. My team and I are very proud of the quality of the cask ales we sell.
“We are also proud of being an important part of the local community. Thank you to all of our customers, friends and of course my wonderful staff.”
Jen and team will officially receive their ‘pub of the season’ award on Thursday 24 July.
