
An incident on the M6 which closed the carriageway overnight was safely resolved.
Emergency services were called to the M6 between junction 32 for Preston and junction 33 for Lancaster at around 3am this morning (28 June).
The carriageway was closed in both directions with diversions put in place while police led the resolution of the incident.
The M6 was fully reopened at around 4.4am this morning.
The incident was a concern for welfare incident that was safely resolved by Lancashire Police, Blog Preston understands.
Traffic is flowing well around the M6 in Preston this morning.
