Alisha Hamilton, the owner of Hamilton Hair, and her team raised just over £5,000 for Cancer Research UK.
In last week’s event, Alisha, her team, friends and family took on the annual 5k Race for Life event in aid of two of her clients, who survived cancer.
Raising over £5,000 of their £4,000 target, each donator was entered into an exciting raffle with five bundles of prizes such as an £100 hair appointment voucher, and a brownie box.
After the Moor Park event, Alisha said in a comment to Blog Preston: “We had over 30 girls on the day running for the charity.
“I was so grateful for all of my clients and friends just turning up, considering how bad the rain was.
“The money we have raised so far has been amazing.”
On the day the team also received donated t-shirts by business JSP Protect LTD, supporting them during their 5k muddy run.
