Preston’s newest mural has just been created and displayed on a busy city street.

Shawn Sharpe displayed his phenomenal artwork skills yet again with his newest mural on Church Street last month.

The “Alreet Cha” mural, sprung up on hoardings that were put up following last year’s fire on Church Street.

Following the fire, the grade-II listed 131A building was demolished which resulted in the hoarding being put up for this mural to be sprayed on.

Alreet Cha represents Preston’s wit and charisma and shows our city’s way of greeting a friend or asking how someone is doing.

Shawn’s currently raising funds for a new mural project as part of his Spray It Forward initiative.

This will create a new mural on the side of the Limehouse building close to the city’s Market and new Animate leisure complex. He is three quarters of the way towards his fundraising total via the Spacehive.
