
A BMW driver was arrested on the M6 because he was wanted for three offences north of the border.
Police reported the incident on the M6 close to Preston where officers had used tactical pursuit and containment tactics to box in the driver and bring him to a stop.
The driver of the silver BMW was subsequently arrested as he was wanted in connection with three offences in Scotland.

There was a puppy in the car which was made safe by the Lancashire Constabulary officers in question.
A sticker on the BMW said “I score high on my drug test”.

A spokesperson for police said: “The driver of this BMW was one sick puppy as he was boxed in using TPAC tactics on the M6 near to Preston by the road crime time.
“The driver was arrested as he was wanted x 3 by our colleagues in Scotland.”
