A public meeting will be held that will give the public the chance to quiz leaders over the progress of the Tram Bridge project.

The Tram Bridge ‘Meet the Team’ Public Drop-in event will see the project leaders share updates on the colour of the bridge, the project plans and milestones and what to expect at the site in the coming months.

It will give the public the opportunity to speak directly with the team, ask questions and otherwise learn more. It will be held at the Pavilion Café on Avenham Park from 2-6pm on Thursday, 24 July.

The bridge is expected to be lifted in to place in Autumn 2025 according to the most recent timeline.

The bridge was announced in Spring 2024 and is being delivered by Preston City Council using part of its £20m grant from government. Lancashire County Council has contributed £1m towards the costs.
