Four fire crews were scrambled to a house in Penwortham during Saturday (2 August) morning.
Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service sent crews from Preston, Penwortham, Bamber Bridge and Blackburn to a property in Townley Lane.
The road is close to the National Grid Substation at Howick.

Firefighters used breathing apparatus to put out the fire.
The incident was described during Saturday morning as ‘ongoing’ although the fire is understood to be out.
