A caravan park workshop could be transformed into a holiday cottage if plans are approved.
A planning application has been submitted to Ribble Valley Council to convert an existing workshop into a holiday cottage at Beacon Fell View caravan park, Higher Road, Longridge.
The plans, which have been drawn up by Garstang-based Graham Anthony Associates on behalf of the park’s owners, include the creation of a first floor and balcony, as well as alterations to the roof and insertion of new windows.
Beacon Fell View is set in about 35 acres of land overlooking Dilworth Upper Reservoir and is licensed for 419 caravans. Facilities include an indoor swimming pool, bar, amusement arcade, gym and an entertainment venue.
The park was sold in 2021 to Hill Brothers Residential and Leisure Parks in a reported off-market deal worth £11 million. The previous owner was Hagans Leisure UK.
Hill Brothers has other holiday parks in the Morecambe area, Chorley and Pendle, as well as outside of Lancashire.
