This week, two exciting films join the lineup across Preston; The Life of Chuck and Eddington.

The Life of Chuck starring Tom Hiddleston, Mark Hamill, and Karen Gillan arrives in theatres after a spectacular run on the film festival circuit. Written and directed by Mike Flanagan, and inspired by a novel from Stephen King, but this movie is very different from their earlier horror collaborations.

Eddington, starring Joaquin Phoenix and Pedro Pascal comes from A24. Written and directed by Ari Aster, this film depicts a modern day Western as the COVID 19 pandemic sets a small town in the USA on edge. Over the course of the film, tensions rise, and a showdown occurs between the people, and the sheriff in a thrilling and twisty drama.
