You can soon catch Wallace, Gromit, Feathers McGraw and Wallace’s latest invention, Norbot, at Cribbs Mall The Greatest Dog Show on Earth offers a second chance to see all sculptures in one place—all 54 of them, plus nearly 100 extra Norbots created by local schools! Tickets for the exhibition (Saturday, September 13 to Sunday, September 28) start from £4 for a child and £6 for an adult, while a family ticket is £17.

Then check out the official Fan Zone instead at Canon’s Marsh Amphitheatre—with an appearance from BBC Introducing artist Hunny Buzz! 3. Oktoberfest

The annual Oktoberfest celebrations kick off in Munich this Saturday (September 20), and so do they in Bristol, too! Lost and Grounded Taproom will be tapping into a fresh barrel of their annual Festbier, brewed in honour of Bavarian tradition, alongside a host of German-inspired lagers—plus, a whole day of DJs and live bands! Elsewhere, Wiper and True and Pasture are teaming up for a one-off fire-fuelled pop-up at The Taproom with beer and BBQ.

4. The Bristol Sea Shanty Festival

The Bristol Sea Shanty Festival will be celebrating our city’s maritime history this weekend around Harbourside (September 20 & 21). Some of the UK’s very best singing crews will be sailing in for this music festival and his year, things are a little different, with performances at Underfall Yard (two stages) and the Great Eastern Hall at the SS Great Britain. Most of the events are FREE, but to secure a spot for the evening sessions, grab a £10 ticket here.

5.  Jane Austen Festival

With any ‘Sense and Sensibility’, make your way to Bath this weekend for the world-famous Jane Austen Festival (September 12 to 21). Celebrate the Regency-era writer, who lived in Bath for several years, with everything from the free-to-watch Costumed Promenade to grand balls in the historic Assembly Rooms, alongside guided tours, canal cruises, film screenings, and more.
