There is no timescale for the closure of Bodycare’s Preston city centre store, according to administrators.
Signs are up at Bodycare’s Preston store indicating that the store will close at some point, with at least 20% off all products.
It comes after the news that Bodycare entered administration on Friday (5 September) with 32 stores closing immediately and 450 employees made redundant.

Blog Preston also reported that a further 85 people employed at their Matrix Park head office at Buckhaw Village had been made redundant.
But the Preston store stayed open, although a number of shelves were completely cleared, and the intention is that it will stay open at least until the remaining stock – including what is at Matrix Park – is sold.
A spokesperson for the joint administrators at Interpath said: “Our priority remains to assess all of the options available, including exploring the possibility of a sale of the Bodycare business and assets.
“In the meantime, however, we have commenced closing down sales in each of the Company’s stores in order to sell the remaining stock.”
