Former snooker hall manager dies aged 63

The manager of a former popular snooker club in Preston city centre has died.

Andrew Livesey, from Deepdale, passed away aged 63.

He was well-known to many as heading up the Riley’s snooker and pool club when it used to be above the Iceland supermarket near Preston Market.

His son Stuart said his father passed away on Monday 15 September at Royal Preston Hospital after contracting pneumonia.

Stuart said: “He was respected and loved by many of the people of Preston. We will miss him.”
